I am fascinated by the impact of media on societies and cultures. I am especially passionate about film, TV, music, literature, and marketing. Through academia and work, I have learned a great deal about the significance of media in learning, strengthening communities, and driving sociocultural change.

Having lived in three countries, I am very grateful to have gained a multicultural understanding of the world, and I hope to continue incorporating that into my work.  I grew up in Dubai and New Delhi. I graduated with a B.A. in Communication from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, and an M.A. in Civic Media: Art and Practice from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. Following this, I specialized in educational content writing and social media management at the organization
Re-Imagining Migration (click here for more details).

I am currently based in Bengaluru, India, and I am a freelance writer and editor at Weloquent, a writing consulting and digital content creation company. In June 2020, I co-founded Media Matinee, a collaborative writing project focused on film and TV. I am interested in an entry-level position that combines my passions for writing, media, and digital communications. My work background is in universities and nonprofit organizations, and I am excited to grow my experience in different contexts. I can't wait to see what the future holds for me! Thanks for reading.
